Cutting and beveling

We provide comprehensive cutting and beveling solutions for plates and profiles used in heavy industry. With years of experience and a highly qualified team, we guarantee precision, speed, and quality in every project, adapting to our clients’ specifications to meet the highest industry standards.

Our facilities include oxy-fuel and plasma cutting machines, enabling us to process more than 6,000 tons of steel per year, with thicknesses ranging from 4 mm up to 260 mm, across a wide variety of material grades. We maintain a permanent stock of 2,000 tons of carbon steel, including high yield strength, wear-resistant, and bimetallic grades.

Our cutting and beveling services are designed to meet the requirements of different industrial sectors, using advanced technologies such as plasma and oxy-fuel cutting. This allows us to work with a broad range of thicknesses and materials, adapting both to large-scale production volumes and highly customized projects.

The beveling process is carried out using specialized machinery, ensuring precise angles and uniform finishes—key factors in achieving strong and durable welds. At Solintal, we ensure that every component is fully prepared for assembly or welding without the need for reprocessing.

Thanks to our infrastructure and continuous investment in technology, we are able to execute large-scale projects within demanding timelines. Every part that passes through our cutting and beveling process is rigorously inspected to ensure compliance with the most demanding technical requirements, contributing to the reliability and durability of the final products.

Bending and rolling

Bending is an essential service that enables the forming of materials into specific shapes while meeting the precision and strength requirements of each project. With CNC press brakes and rolling machines capable of exerting up to 2,000 tons of force, we can handle components up to 9,500 mm in width, making this capacity ideal for industries requiring the forming of large and thick structural components.

For projects demanding high design flexibility, we utilize custom punches and dies, as well as a Vario-V system adjustable up to 400 mm, allowing the execution of complex bends while fully complying with each client’s specifications. Our engineering team carefully evaluates each component—considering material grade and thickness—before defining the appropriate bending parameters to ensure optimal results.

This approach guarantees that every bend is executed with the required precision while preserving the structural integrity of the component and optimizing its performance.

At Solintal, the bending process is carried out under strict quality control to minimize deviations and ensure that every part is fully prepared for the assembly phase. This service is fundamental in the production of large structural components, ensuring precise fit and alignment with the final assemblies of each project.

Thanks to our flexible approach and the advanced technology of our bending equipment, Solintal’s bending services deliver consistent precision and quality across every project.

Shot Blasting

Shot blasting is a critical stage in the production process, preparing component surfaces for subsequent treatments or painting. Our facilities include two shot blasting cabins, with dimensions of up to 5 m wide × 6 m high × 15 m long, designed to process large components and remove any impurities or residues that could compromise the quality of the final finish.

Shot blasting is essential to ensure proper adhesion of paints and protective coatings, helping to protect components against corrosion and extend their service life.

During the process, each component is subjected to a projection of metallic abrasive shot, removing rust, dust, and other contaminants, leaving a clean and properly prepared surface ready for final treatment. At Solintal, we ensure that every shot blasting operation is carried out with precision, delivering a uniform surface finish across the entire component.

Our shot blasting service guarantees quality and durability, ensuring that each part is properly protected and prepared to withstand the demanding environments in which it will operate.

Assembly

Assembly is a process that requires high levels of precision and stability, particularly in large-scale projects. Our facilities are equipped with leveled assembly beds, providing a stable base for assembling large and complex components while ensuring that every part is accurately aligned and securely fixed. These platforms are calibrated to deliver maximum precision, enabling high-quality assemblies that meet the safety and durability standards required by our clients.

At Solintal, the assembly process is carried out under the supervision of specialized technicians who ensure that every component complies with the exact specifications of each project. This approach is essential for minimizing errors and optimizing the structural integrity of the final product.

With Solintal’s assembly services, every project is executed with the assurance that the assembled components will deliver exceptional strength, reliability, and quality.

Welding

Welding at Solintal is a critical process for ensuring the structural integrity and strength of every project. Our facilities are equipped with more than 120 advanced welding units, including MIG/MAG, TIG, Submerged Arc, and Shielded Metal Arc (Stick) welding systems. This capability allows us to work with a wide range of materials and thicknesses, delivering joints designed to withstand demanding conditions and meet the durability and quality requirements of sectors such as energy and railway infrastructure.

Each welding project is carried out under strict quality control procedures. Our certified welders work in coordination with specialized welding engineers who supervise every joint, adjusting welding parameters to achieve precise and consistent results.

The advanced welding technologies we employ also provide significant flexibility, enabling us to adapt the process to meet specific client requirements in terms of structural strength, geometry, and finishing of each component.

In addition, our processes are certified under UNE-EN ISO 3834-2:2021 for fusion welding of metallic materials, ensuring that every weld meets the highest industrial quality standards. This rigorous approach guarantees long-term reliability and structural integrity, even in highly demanding operating environments.

Pieza mecanizada
Machining and boring

Machining and boring are key services for the manufacture of components that require extreme precision and specific surface finishes. With the capability to process everything from small parts to components weighing up to 90,000 kg, and using CNC-controlled equipment such as boring mills, machining centers, lathes, and milling machines with CAD/CAM programming, we are able to deliver high-precision machining for components of any size and complexity.

We provide a service that is particularly critical for sectors requiring high-precision components, such as the energy, defense, and construction industries.

In addition, our team of machining operators and technicians follows strict quality control protocols to ensure that the final result meets both client specifications and industry standards.

Boring is particularly useful for the manufacture of large components that require precise internal machining, such as shafts and tubular structures. This process is carried out using specialized machinery capable of working with high precision on large-scale parts, ensuring that every hole and slot maintains the accuracy required for proper assembly.

Painting

Painting is a critical service to ensure the protection and durability of components. Our facilities include painting booths equipped with drying ovens, enabling uniform and resistant finishes on parts up to 6.5 m wide × 6 m high × 15 m long. For larger components, we operate an open paint wall system that ensures complete and even coating across all surfaces.

The painting process begins with an evaluation of each component’s operating conditions, allowing us to select the most suitable coating system to ensure long service life in demanding environments.

We apply advanced coating techniques that optimize adhesion and protect surfaces against corrosion, impact, and wear. This professional finishing not only enhances the visual appearance of each component but also provides an additional layer of protection, which is essential for sectors such as construction and transport.

Each coating application is carried out by specialized technicians who continuously monitor the process to guarantee uniform finish and full surface coverage. The use of drying ovens accelerates curing times, reducing lead times while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Hydraulic Assembly

Solintal’s capability to perform customized assemblies allows us to adapt to the specific requirements of each client, adjusting the configuration of components to meet the operational and spatial constraints of every project.

We carry out hydraulic and mechanical assemblies involving components such as hydraulic cylinders, gear reducers, gates, valves, ducts, and piping, all of which are essential for the controlled movement of mechanisms through regulated fluid flow.

Each hydraulic assembly is performed by qualified technicians following strict procedures to ensure system sealing, stability, and operational reliability. The process includes rigorous testing to verify that every system meets the required safety and efficiency standards—particularly critical in sectors where equipment operates under high pressures and continuous-duty conditions.
